Station Warning For Rail Travellers

Paddington station in London is due to close for the Easterweekend because of signalling work.

Services from and to Bristol will stop and start at EalingBroadway from late on Thursday April 17, to early on Tuesday April22. Travellers will have to link up between Ealing and central Londonby Tube.

The work is part of the GBP30 million investment in new signallingtechnology.

Christian Tagholme, spokesman for Network Rail, said: "We arereplacing more than 40 signals along a two-mile stretch of track.

"It is part of the work that was started in the autumn.
