Qld: Man drowns in dam

A man has drowned in a dam on Queensland's Darling Downs while trying to retrieve a boat.

Police say the 50-year-old man drowned about 1pm (AEST) yesterday while attempting
to swim out to the drifting boat on the Crestbrook Dam, about 17 kilometres from Crows
Nest.

His name hasn't been released.

Police say there's nothing suspicious about his death.
